Wordpress 2 For iPhone

Wordpress 2 is now live for iPhone users, now the users of iPhone and especially Bloggers like me can have a better and enhanced user interface to manage the blogs more easily and faster.

The Version 2 of Wordpress for iPhone brings :

  • A new, more efficient user interface that makes it faster to switch between comments(with Gravatars and the author URL), posts, and pages.
  • Passwords are now stored in the keychain
  • Posts are now automatically saved and restored if network connection is lost during publishing
  • Added persistence, so the app re-opens in the blog you last used

“Apps for everything” Page Appears on Apple.com

In Apple.com there is a new page which has appeared out of no where which says “Apps for Everything” in this page you can see the apps arranged in the an organized manner with 12 major categories and each one having 8 to 24 programs and each one has got a brief description stating what it is about and why it is present there.

I think that this is just an attempt to get the >85000 apps in an organized way and make life easy for app hunters who are in search for a suitable app for their need.

µTorrent iPhone App Rejected, Renamed as µMonitor Over to Cydia

When i heard the name µTorrent iPhone app i was very exited that i will be able to use my iPhone to download movies with the help of torrents like Nokia Smartphones.

But unfortunately it is used to control remotely  µTorrent working on your computer.

But unfortunately it has been labeled as illegal on grounds of Anti-piracy and it moved into Cydia, from which the jailbroken iPhones can download it for free.

This App is called as µMonitor in Cydia, and the tutorial to install it is in here.

The Most popular Wild life and science TV channel Discovery is now available in your iPhone through the iPhone App “Dis”.

This App which makes it easier to view your favourite episodes of Discovery on the go. This iPhone App is a boon for people like me who are big fans of Discovery channel shows like “Time Wrap”, “Myth Busters” and “Man vs Wild”

Now i dont have to wait for the show to come on TV or go and download it in youtube, as i can just watch it off whenever i wish to on my iPhone.

New Facebook App for iPhone 3.0

Apple iPhone’s most popular App – the Facebook App is coming in a new revamped version with many new features and the developers are trying to get the App as close to the real thing as possible.

Joe Hewitt the facebook developer was heard saying on twitter about the new iPhone App “The app is pretty much done – we’re just working on translating it into a bunch of languages,”

Wanna Get all the Apps in iTunes ???

Apple has revolutionized how to use a phone and in how many ways it can be used with its iPhone.
When you are having a Gadget in your hand which is capable of doing anything around you with the help of the awesome 55,000+ Apps around then if you say you are getting bored it is a crime.
And more so if you wanna collect all the Apps around in the App Store, then you have to shell out around $144,000.
So if you have the Mollah and the space to have so much memory, which i dont think the 32Gb version can handle.

Twittelator

Twittelator is the best all-around free twitter app I’ve found for the iPhone.  It allows you to do custom searches and it saves the search each time you do a new search. It gives you quite a few different categories of tweets to browse, which Twittelator calls Groups, including featured Tweets, your own tweets, friends’ tweets, everyone’s tweets, favorites and more.  It gives you twitter profiles with stats too.You can not only use follow, unfollow and favorites from this app, but you can also bookmark twitter accounts that you aren’t sure you want to follow but you want to be able to find again.  The one thing it seems you can not do easily is retweet.

It is an awesome twitter app for the awesome iPhone, Twitterfon is a Twitter App which is made to make your work cut out on Twitter as you can  see your friends/replies/messages timeline, see favorites, and send/reply a tweet.

You can also search tweets, get twitter trends, upload photos to twitpic.com, and update your location information.

This app i think is the best twitter app on the iPhone with is userfriendly interface it is a thing which even children can use very easily.

Twitterfon is Available in Free and the Pro versions.
