So as we can see Aircel Wifi cannot be found all around the city in every nook and corner of the city, so Aircel has selected some prime spots to introduce its wifi service and aircel has listed the places where you can avail the internet service in your area by searching in their site.

Steps to Search for Aircel Wifi Hotspot:

• Go to this Link Find Aircel Wifi
• And you will be directed to the Aircel Website where you will be seeing the Find Aircel option, and you will seeing a Drop down option under the City/Town Name.
• When you go into this Drop Down Box you will be seeing the List of Cities which are offering the service.

• When you select any city you will be seeing the list of Addresses where you can get the wifi Service.

• Aircel Pre-paid Sim
• Postpaid mobile connection is required for using the Aircel Wi-Fi service.

Steps to connect to Aircel Wif Hotspot:

1. Choose or search for a Wifi Hot Spot in your Area. Here is the Tutorial on How to search for Aircel Wifi Hot Spot
2. After you have reached the Wi-Fi hotspot, you need to switch ‘on’ the Wi-Fi option of your laptop or mobile.
3. Search for the available network or refresh the available network list. You will see “AIRCEL_SPECTRANET” option on the list of networks available.
4. Click on AIRCEL_SPECTRANET network and click Connect.
5. Once you are connected to the network, open any browser
6. This will open the AIRCEL SPECTRANET page with an option to sign up would be displayed.
7. On clicking the new user sign-up option, you would be required to enter your 10-digit Aircel mobile number of either the Pre Paid or Post Paid Connection
8. After you have submitted the mobile number, you would be sent an authorization password through an SMS to your mobile.
9. Enter the authorization password which you have got through your SMS on the webpage or your mobile or laptop and click Submit.
10. After you have submitted the authorization password, you would be charged for your plan and you would be sent your user ID and password on your mobile phone through an SMS.
11. Use the user ID (your mobile number) and password received on your mobile through SMS to log in to your AIRCEL SPECTRANET account
12. Now you can browse the Internet for 1 hour.
13. Please do not close the AIRCEL SPECTRANET window till the time you are browsing.

How to Install Simple Startup Password:

1) Go to Google Chrome web Store – https://chrome.google.com/webstore

2) Type Simple Startup Password in the top right box for Search.

3) Then there will be options coming up in the Extensions.

4) Then on clicking the App opens and you will given an option to Install the App. Which will be automatically installed.5) To type the Password you have to got the Settings -> Tools -> Extensions.

6) Extensions page opens and you can see your app in that where you have to go into the Options as seen in the image below.

7) Which will opens a page showing Enter Password, where you have to enter your desired password and press Enter which will open a box ‘Password was Safed’

 And after opening Google chrome browser the next time you will be asked to “Enter Browser Startup Password”

Take TATA DOCOMO INTERNET’ WAP profile in Settings:

In wap 2.0 phones[Nokia,Sony Ericson,samsung,L.g, Motorola etc] enter these additional gprs settings.

If you do not have a Nokia and Sony Ericsson phone, you’ll need to set your phone manually with the same details as mentioned in the above given image.

These tips are pretty basic but are not known by many iPhone users and they struggle to do some basic stuff in the browser like:

1) How to Scroll to the Top of Page:

• In any application, Safari included, you can automatically scroll to the top of the page by tapping on the “top bar”, which has the time, service bars, and battery. In Safari, this not only brings you to the top of the page, but also brings up the URL bar.

2) How to get different domain suffix’s:

Hold down the “.com” key for “.net, .edu, .org” keys, which will appear there.

( Note: Slide your finger from .com to .net/.edu/.org, rather than lifting and pressing.)

3) How to know the URL and Site Name:

In Safari, hold a link to see the URL and site name. This can be used to know the site name and the URL to avoid going into spam sites.

4) How to Save any Image from Safari or any Website:

To save any image from the web to your camera roll, simply press and hold the image. A menu will appear asking “Save Image” or “Cancel”. Once the image is in your camera roll, you can set it as your wallpaper.

5) How to Make a paragraph fit-to-page in Safari:

Double tap a column on Safari to fit-to-page, and make the text readable.

When browsing the Internet on your iPhone’s Safari browser, double tap any column, word, or picture to fit it’s width to your iPhone’s screen. This is extremely useful for reading blogs.

6) How to Manually select the icon image for a bookmarked webpage

This one’s a little more confusing. When you are browsing a website on your iPhone’s Safari browser and want to add its icon to your home screen, press the plus sign and select “Add to Home Screen”.

The image in the icon, however, is a screenshot of the page you were on. So if you want the icon to look a specific way, zoom in on a particular item on the page. Whether you want the website’s logo, or some picture on the page, simply zoom in on that part of the page before you press “Add to Home Screen”.

Note: This doesn’t work with all websites. Popular sites like Google have special icons for the iPhone’s home screen.

Press the + sign and choose Add to Home Screen.

This can be mainly useful with the Jail broken iPhone in which we constantly come across this problem, and there is actually a simple solution to this problem which many are not aware of.

The Solution: Just keep holding the Home button for 6 seconds continuously, and you will be directed to the home screen.

Normally I don’t make tools for the general public, and rather wait for the dev team to do it. But guys, whats up with waiting until 3.1? That isn’t how the game is played. We release, Apple fixes, we find new holes. It isn’t worth waiting because you might have the “last” hole in the iPhone. What last hole…this isn’t golf. I’ll find a new one next week.

The versionreleased is only for Windows, and you are lucky if you are having XP or Vista which are able to Jailbreak the iPhone 3GS.

The purplerain software is still in its ‘Beta’ phase so try this at your own risk, but many are saying to have a sucessfull Jailbreak.

Prodecure / How to do it:

1. Make sure you are using the Windows OS computer.

2. Download the purplera1n software. (Click on link to download)

3. Upgrade to iTunes 8.2.

4. Open purplera1n, and click “Make it Ra1n”

5. Wait for it to complete, and on boot up you have to run the installer app of purplera1n called Freeze.

6. Then just follow the instructions on honw to Jailbreak the iPhone 3GS, which will be clearly given by the Program.

But i Prefer to wait for the Full Version to try my luck on.
