Apple Media Event Jan – 26, 2010

Apple has announced a Media event to release its products in its typical and trademark manner, hope we can see Steve Jobs again in his Blue jeans and Black tee, and bring out another Gadget of the decade for the next 10 yrs.

“Apple has reportedly scheduled a media event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on Tuesday Jan. 26, 2010, for a major product announcement.”

The expected announcements for the 2010 Media event are:

  • The most anticipated Apple Tablet.
  • The subscription plan for video content on iTunes.

Apple iPhone 4G packed with 5Mp camera ??

The next generation iPhone which is mostly expected to be announced in the summer by Apple is going to have a 5 Mp camera much to the relief of all the iPhone fans.

Apple which has neglected on the camera section in the last two iPhones, has finally took the right step, as it has apparently ordered 40-45 million camera units from OmniVision Technologies for 2010.

There are some high expectation with the Media Event scheduled for Jan 26.

The already crowded eBook market is gonna see one more in the group but i think it is going to be a better one from the lot, with an Android platform OS and with an Mp3 player it is not gonna make you feel bored while reading.

Palm Pre Updated – But doesnot Sync with iTunes

Palm released webOS 1.2 this week, which is the latest update for the Palm Pre the iPhone competitor.

Palm in its new update gives:

  1. Enabling access to the Amazon MP3 Store
  2. The ability to download files in the Web browser
  3. And filtering of e-mails by search
  4. You can now tap a phone number in a calendar note to dial it (so you can get to the joy of music-on-hold for your conference calls even faster!).
  5. Pause a podcast and, by default, you’ll pick up where you left off when you unpause

Apple planning Multi-Touch Surface ??

Apple has disclosed plans of a multi-touch surface that could accommodate two full hands and distinguish between palms and individual fingers for typing, gestures and more.

This information has been gathered from the new patent application (filed by Morrison and Foerster LLP in Los Angeles in June 2009 on behalf of Apple) Apple has put forward.

The Details which are revealed from the document are:

  • Integration of typing
  • Resting
  • Pointing
  • Scrolling
  • 3D manipulation
  • Handwriting into a versatile, ergonomic computer input device.

iTunes 9 does not Sync Palm Pre

Apple released the iTunes 9 in its event conducted on 09-09-09, The event mainly was dedicated to Music “Its only Rock and Roll Event”.

Then Apple released the updated version of iTunes as the iTunes9.

In the previous version where Palm had built its mobile in such a way that it was recognized in iTunes and was compatible with it, now Apple has countered Palm and this new version of iTunes does not accept Palm and Palm pre cannot be synced into it.

As the Apple vs Palm war continues there was a new announcement of Palm coming out with the younger brother of the Pre the “Palm Pixi”

Nokia World 09 was the event where the Nokia N97 mini was unvieled, The mini which has all the features of its elder brother makes it the same device in a smaller package.

The Nokia N97 mini seems to be smaller than the Original N97 in width and length.

Storage: 8Gb and expandable upto 24 Gb with the help of a Micro SD card.

All this commotion about the Tablet makes me think about the popularity of Apple, whatever they do becomes news and it is bought in the masses.

HTC Touch Diamond 2 something different from HTC

The all new HTC Diamond 2 is the new Smart Phone from the stables of HTC which i think is something different from the usual trademark designs of HTC.

The HTC Diamond which was the earlier version from HTC was with rounded edges and the design was a trademark design of the HTC, but this design is really a different look which resembles the Nokia 5530 and the Zune HD in its external looks.

The HTC Diamond 2 is sleek and is equiped with a 5Mp camera a complete touch screen without a quwerty keypad and 3G facility.
