Imei number is the most important number to get your lost phone back.

IMEI number-The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI)

The chennai police has implemented a easy method to trace your lost mobile phones with the help of just your imei number and that too just by sitting at home. You can see the method click here

This number can be used to recover Stolen Mobiles by tracing the mobile via a complex system of GPRS and internet.

How to get the imei number:
There are 2 ways to find your imei number:

Take your phone and then all you have to do is

Dial: *#06#
And then you will get a 15 Digit number which is your imei number.

2) The second method is to check behind your phone under the battery, where you can see a 15 digit number which is your imei number.
