Apple accepts Apps that support 3.0 OS
iPhone OS 3.0 beta 5 was released on 6th of this month, apple has followed it up with a notification to the Developers stating that it would only accept apps which support 3.0 OS.
"Beginning today, all submissions to the App Store will be reviewed on the latest beta of iPhone OS 3.0. If your app submission is not compatible with iPhone OS 3.0, it will not be approved."
And the sad part is Apple is going to remove the presently existing apps form the App store and will only use the new ones once the 3.0 is released.
And also all iPhone developers must pay the $99 fee for access to the beta iPhone OS as well as to submit any free or paid app.
But i think it a good news for iPhone owners as we do not have to worry which apps are compatible or not as all the apps will be compatible with the latest version.
