I think that Bing is making it big into the search engine field and also in the Maps giving hard time to google apps and this time it has also been seen in the BING Mobile Search concept.

Microsoft which is launching a mobile version of Bing. In fact, Bing mobile search has just gone public and you can visit the site by pointing your mobile phone’s browser to http://m.bing.com.I tried using Bing mobile using my iPhone and I would have to say that it loads fast and the main search page is sleek and clean, although I can’t help notice it’s striking resemblance and seems even clearer than Google Mobile Search.

Seen in the images are the codename of Bing before it was officially released “KUMO”. We can see that it is a simple layout and i hope that the official released version will get a good makeover compared to the images seen here

Now Google which has an Integrated serch on the browser-side, being the default search engine in Safari, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera. But if Microsoft can get more wireless providers and hardware manufacturers to include the Bing mobile app into the phone, the service might have a fighting chance in the mobile world.

Bing App for the iPhone Needed

And also Bing has to get some developers to make an iPhone Application which the most used internet browising hand held device in the world, with the new iPhone 3GS sales reaching 1million mark in just 3 days.

Bing the reviced version of Live Search from Microsoft was Unveiled by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer on 28th May 2009, at the All Things D conference in San Diego.

The company says that it will be fully launched by 3rd June 2009, the Bing is said to have a related searches option (called “Explorer pane” on the left side of search results).

The company’s Vice president Yusuf Mehdi says
I’ve been playing around with a preview version of Bing for about a week. It is designed to be “more of a decision engine,”

“Each search result page is customized according to what type of search you do (health, travel, shopping, news, sports). The algorithms determine not only the order of results on the page, but the layout of the page itself, concluding what sections appear. These sections can include anything from guided refinements and a list of related searches in the left-hand pane to images, videos, and local results.”

Bing can be seen with the codename Kumo seen is some of the images in various site like Techcrunch.
The Guided Search option much hyped by Microsoft VP gives different results for different things which you search for, like if you search for an animal then you get the results images, facts, sale, breeders, care, diseases, and videos and when you search for a gadget say Zune HD then you will get shopping, review, manual, repair, buy, stand, images, and videos a entirely different set of options which is pretty impressive.
You can see the video of the yet to be released Microsoft search engine Bing.
